For f*cks sake SkidrowGames, at least use ONE fast server for your mirrors. No wonder people are complaining, because all the hosts you choose are either corrupt, slow as f*ck, or won’t let free users download large files.

Yeah, same here – only realized it when Sir Hammerlock wasn’t sayin’ nothin’ on the first missions. Figured Claptrap *may* have been talking all the way through till then – but there are no subtitles popping up either.
Just read on one steam tech support page that other people are having same issue – apparently it’s *supposed* to happen on pirated games, although some games people paid for are having the same issue. Voice/subtitles worked in opening cutscenes, but I guess that’s because it’s all pre-rendered videos and such.
Might need to wait for better crack?
Sound effects, music, etc all work perfectly – but feels like a very boring lonely world when nobody says a single word!

This version works with the crack provided in the new skidrow post but there is no speech, besides movies but in game no speech at all.

Crack works, but the NPCs are muted. Either it’s an anti piracy measure on Gearbox’s part, or Unlocked fucked up. I downloaded it from the putlocker link.
