CS: GO is being developed by Valve in cooperation with Seattle-based Hidden Path Entertainment. The title is targeted for release in early 2012 and will be playable at this year’s PAX Prime and Eurogamer Expo.

1) Install VMware Workstation v8.0.1 Full;
2) Run VMware, in the "File" menu - "Open" to select "Open image format for virtual machines" and import the folder Image \ CSGOBeta.ovf.
3) Start the game with a shortcut on the desktop virtual machine.
It is important to:
For a normal game you need to run the image through the VMWare Player and select virtualke least 1.5 GB of RAM.

this sucks big time… when playing this you need a hell of a pc.. vmware is such a pain in the ram even though i put all the settings in low resolution it’s a hell of a lag. its better to play CSGO without vmware. its such a waste of time… better with for the real CSGO than playing it with such lag and with vmware

Actually, I still dont understand why use Vmware ( not the classic installer ) :)
Me neither……… BUT when I pull out the folder from the vm to my original desktop I get it to open but in first two-guys loading screen it crashes! This is extremely mystirious…….. Sth in the vm gets it to work that’s why they give release vm only……….
