    I REALLY APPRECIATE THE EFFORT GUYZ BUT THIS EMULATOR (V2) IS THE SAME AS V1 AND BOTH OF THEM ARE PURE SHIT – UNPLAYABLE!!!!!

    Well done skidrow!

    Anyone still struggling search on youtube, there is a video explaining the installation of the emulator. Simply download and install all above mentioned programs. Open D3emu, press f5. And you done.
    Bugs:
    No quest triggers are active in the emulator.
    Unable to lose hp.
    Exesive loot.

    This version isn’t really a playable version, but its a atleast a start to cracking the game. Keep up the good work :)

    Here is MY per compiled up to date Madcow. Just unzip the file onto any drive like C or whatever. RUN the Madcow.exe, and follow the steps

    This is NOT virused in any way. I don’t pull that shit on people, so if any of you come back, and say it’s virused is full of it.

    Follow these steps…

    #1: Unzip the Madcow (in the zipped file) directory to whatever drive you wish to use.
    #2: Run Madcow.exe
    #3: Select “Mooege” in the repository selection box.
    #4: Select “Master” in the Branch Selection.
    #5: Now press “UPDATE/DOWNLOAD” Button.
    #6: Select BROWSE, and make your way over to where your Diablo 3.exe is.
    #7: Select “Copy MPQ’s”, and let Madcow do it’s thing it does so well.

    Once it is done… Select “Play Diablo (Local)” Button

    Select Mooege from the list (make sure tick is in the box).

    And Play.

    Your Login name is: test@
    Your password is: 123456

    Remember to update Mooege so you can keep up to date on the latest copy.

    big blue zone ingame cant’s sell item at the merchant (item don’t diseppears from the bag)

    go through shutting gate etc etc…

    but it work for the connection.

        You Must Copy Mpqs
        Here Is THe Steps
        - Go to where you have install the game then go to Data_D3\PC\MPQs
        - Copy this folders “base” and “enGB” and past them in C:\D3Emu\Assets\MPQ then go back to Data_D3\PC\MPQs
        - Copy this files “ClientData.mpq” and “CoreData.mpq” and past them in C:\D3Emu\Assets\MPQ
        - Then go where you install the game, make shortcut for Diablo III.exe and add this extension “-launch”

        And You Must Run The PonyPatcher And Apply The patch !

    Ok I’ve found out that all you have to do is make a shortcut of Diablo III.exe or you can just edit the one on your desktop and erase the word “Launcher” after Diablo III tha would make it look like “Diablo III.exe” and not “Diablo III Launcher.exe”

    and add this after the closing quotation to prevent the automatic updating of files.
    “-launch -auroraaddress 79.124.67.3:1345″

    it’s insanely full of bugs, though its great to see you’ve been making progress so far, at least its playable

    but just to take into notes:

    - you can’t sell items
    - the drop of gold-items is way too high
    - there is a guy at the beginning of the 1st quest you can touch that crashes the game
    - monsters are bugged, since they either don’t appear or come out in hundreds and never stop
    - quests are bugged
    - you can walk through doors and stuff
    - some of the teleports and passages can’t be used
    - in some parts the map gets bugged and you can see the end of it in a straight line, if you walk up to that place you see no more map, but blue screen and you can’t go back
    - you can’t hire mercenaries, or at least if you do they do not work as supposed

    well, and many other things to add, i hope you make more progresses soon

    For those having the login info problem, it’s cause windows 7 doesn’t allow you to change system files even if you are logged in as admin by not letting you save there.. If you go ahead and save somewhere else and copy the file into the directory, you will see it’s a ‘hosts.txt’ file instead of ‘hosts’ and the system will not recognise it. Follow these steps to solve the problem.

    1. right-click on your notepad shortcut and click “Run as administrator”.
    2. Click open and go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\
    3. Open the hosts file and add in the lines Skidrow posted at the end – # symbol not needed before the lines.
    127.0.0.1 eu.actual.battle.net
    127.0.0.1 us.actual.battle.net
    4. login information problem should now be solved.

    Took me some time to figure out that that was the problem so hope this helps others.

    If after all these years developing the game, not even Blizzard were able to remove all the bugs on Diablo 3, it’s kinda reasonable that after only 1 month Skidrow nor even Madcow/Moege team wouldn be able to do so.
    Just wait some more and a better one wiil be released. =)

    i run the game but cant do nothing.. i created a Demon Hunter and cant kill the monsters cuz i have no bow/crossbow.. i created a Barbarian and when i enter New Tristan and talk with some NPC it crashes.. lol..

    I forgot to mention something while playing with Diablo 3. I use Madcow/Mooege, and when you are starting to play the game, press the little chat button (bottom left).

    Then select yourself. Once open type in

    !spawn

    Spawn will spawn a baddie not too far from your location. Now if you type in !spawn 5 it will spawn 5 bad ones…

    Type in !spawn 50 well you get the picture. Just don’t type in 50 because I did that, and I died very quickly.

    Now if you know the type of monster you wish to have type in !spawn 1 or something like that.

    guys its works but it got huge number of bugs and errors if u got errors before you login just keep trying ……. in the game 1-monsters doesn’t appear right
    2-quest 1 doesn’t start
    3-you can walk through things
    so the server is usless now wait for updates to fix the bugs

    For all those getting the error 315300 login incorrect check the following
    (this is happening because the game is still connecting to the battle.net server ) ;

    1. check if you have pasted the ip addresses in the hosts file
    2.check your game server it should either be America or Europe NOT Asia (Options>Accounts>Server)

    At least we know it’s working, just not exactly the same.

    Anyone feeling a bit of lag in the game eventhough 0ms?

    And yes as many mentioned, server is buggy, first quest can’t start (nothing spawning) npcs are mostly broken, shop sells really weird items, first start item is missing, etc etc.

    Hell it’s already good progress considering can even play. I noticed you can also open any doors and go through objects that will be removed in later quests, haha.

    Okay, made it work. It took three or two tries but I did it. Yes, I noticed the bugs mentioned below, it’s very common and expected. Emulators are not 100% accurate, they need to work at them. It’s a BIG step they took here, guys. You made what they (trolls and Blizz ppl) thought it could be impossible. I deeply congratulate you!

    TUTORIAL: (sorry if i have errors in my english)

    Download and install visual C#: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/visual-csharp-express

    Download and install SqlLite: http://system.data.sqlite.org/downloads/1.0.79.0/sqlite-netFx40-setup-bundle-x86-2010-1.0.79.0.exe

    Download and install Net Framework 4: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851

    Download the emulator: http://ryushare.com/6tjw89wiv5r2/sG.d3sem.rar

    Download the server emulator v2: http://rapidshare.com/files/3062831627/sG.v2ser.emu.rar

    Download Ponypatcher: http://rapidshare.com/files/2732640079/PonyPatcher.rar

    OK now do this:

    1- Install the game and run it to update to 1.02.9991 then exit

    2- Extract the emulator and the server emulator v2 into C: (or your main hard drive)

    3- Go to you Diablo 3 install folder and next go Data_D3\PC\MPQs. Copy “base”, ClientData.mpq (extract first), CoreData.mpq, enGB (or enUS, esES – it depends on your country). Copy all this to C:\sG.v2ser.emu\Assets\MPQ (sG.v2ser.emu is the folder you have extracted from server emulator v2 .rar)

    4- Go where you install the game, make shortcut for Diablo III.exe, go into properties and add this extension -launch

    5- Go to c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and open hosts in notepad (uncheck read only in hosts properties if you can’t save) . Add this lines at the end
    127.0.0.1 eu.actual.battle.net
    127.0.0.1 us.actual.battle.net

    6- Now extract the Ponypatcher.rar anywhere you want but don`t open it.

    7- Run D3Emu.exe (C:/sG.v2ser.emu/D3EMU.exe – folder where you have extract the server emulator v2) then open Diablo III Shortcut with -launch extension. In game press ALT+TAB and open PonyPatcher. PonyPatch should say the game is runing and press “Patch button”.

    8- Finally go back to the game and login with username “test@” and password “123456″ and you are ready to connect. Now you can play!!!!!!!

    Man the emulator is great, but still alot of work to be done.
    1) First quest doesn’t work well, and you can’t continue from there.
    2) Gold & Item drops are crazy.
    3) NPCs are somewhat bugged.
    4) No Intro cinema.
    5) No beginning Items.
    6) You can go through doors and road blockades.

    For all those getting “Error 315300″ (incorrect login something) this is what worked for me

    First of all follow the installation instructions. After installing the game (emulator and everything else) launch the game. Now enter the username and password, if you get an error in the second step (login error) just press ALT + ENTER (to get out of the game without closing it) and use PonyPatcher to patch the game, even if you have patched the game already, do it again, worked for me.

    I hope this solves your problem.

    Right now the game is barely playable with all the bugs it has, however its still nice to roam around and actually be able to play the game. I’m sure it’ll get better once its updated.

    i have yet to understand what to do with this tutorial. so you open madcow2011 inside visual c and then run the debugger and….watch the screen or what? what must i do? i tried running the remote server from madcow and i got error 3003. i tried the manual thing using d3emu.exe and i get past the connecting to battle net server and the game just does nothing in the authenticating credentials section.

    suggestions/ ideas?

    Translated instruction for polish users:

    Opis instalacji po Polsku: (z góry przepraszam za błędy, ale piszę szybko i nie znam aż tak dobrze angielskiego ;))
    - ściągnąć grę i updatować przy pomocy lunchera do najnowszej wersji
    - ściągnąć Visual C# i zainstalować
    - ściągnąć emulator i wypakować go na dysk C:
    - ściągnąć SqlLite (nawet jeśli masz system x64 użyj bibliotek dla x86) i zainsyaluj
    - ściągnąć Net Framework 4 i zainstalować
    - udać się do C:Madcow i otworzyć MadCow2011 w visualC#
    - w visual C# po otwarciu wcisnąć F5
    1. Po uruchomieniu się emulatora w części repository selection wybrać mooege/mooege (pierwszy link) i wcisnąć Validate Repository
    2. Wcisnąć update/download i czekać na wiadomość w okienku [Process Complete!]
    3. Wybrać Diablo3.exe z folderu gdzie masz zainstalowaną grę
    4. Wcisnąć Copy MPQ’s i czekać na wiadomość ‘Copying MPQ files completed.’
    5. Wcisnąć play Diablo (local), wybrać mały kwadracik obok mooede i wcisnąć Lunch Diablo 3
    - Jeśli nie możesz się zalogować poczekaj od 1 do 5min bo serwer może być przeciążony. Logujemy się przy pomocy loginu test@ i hasła: 123456
    - Miłej zabawy

    Jeśli gra nie chce się uruchomić musisz w pliku c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts dopisac na końcu
    127*0*0*1 eu*actual*battle*net
    127*0*0*1 us*actual*battle*net

    zamiast “*” wstawić kropki.

    para los que se quejan de los errores, les dire que esto no es mas que otro juego online reporten los errores, bug, glicher, etc. y los que tanto se banaglorean por haberlo comprado legal aver les planteo quiten su coneccion a internet para ver si pueden jugar y luego me cuentan, si valio la pena comprarlo legal xDDDD! jajajajajajajaejejejejejejejejejijijjjijijjijijijijijijiji la empresa blizzard una de las peores en estos dias lo peor para ellos>><<<<

    nota: agradescan que total el juego no es la gran cosa a la final!! o tro mas par el monton xDDD

    why no one is listening to me?????????

    in the last step of Visual C#, after i browse and select the .EXE file and click on “Play Diablo Local”, an error shows up saying “Could not launch Diablo. (Diablo.cs)” !!!
