did you or anyone ever figure out the witch hunter cut scene freeze bug, i believe it happens because i dont even see the witch hunter, maybe the install is missing the file for that entity, or its corrupt. if anyone knows what file has the witch hunter and how to get it. please say.

I had the same problem with the Witch hunter in Act I, but found out how to circumvent the issue. At the beginning of the campaign, you have to go straight to the spot where the witch hunter is without taking any detours (you may have to buy some spells) and the game will not freeze after that. It worked for me; give it a try.

I found out you can run the game if you unplug your internet connection, then run the game. Once you are connected to the internet however, you won’t be able to start the game up.

Can somebody please tell me, where to find that damned ancient necklace in act I desperate escape? I have destroyed almost all the map, expect empire´s city, but I cant find out a way to get there.
There is also a place on map, where I suspected the necklace (something orange is flaming there and there is also a star on the minimap at this place), but it was not there.

Any update? Steam has released it last October to fix the bugs (http://store.steampowered.com/news/6641/)
game stoping bug atleast for me. after the cutscene and dialog with a witchhunter, so i down load the patch 1.4 and befor installing ive got a back up files in game folder ( only the files not folders ) then update it, then “BANG” u need the 1.4 key so the key for that is cannot find on the web, then re copy the backup files…………..game work nicely but conversations and some of texts are missing…….BUT game works for me…( and any body find the 1.4 key plese let me know)

All you have to do is disconnect your internet connection and Disciples III will not ask for a product key.

Both Disciples 3 games (Renessaince + Resurrection) have been re-desigend to Disciples : Reincarnation and released in Oct 26, 2012 with new features & updates.
