ALL (including myself) who have downloaded this release have this very SAME problem. The problem exists simply because the release team (REVENANTS) who made this REPACK (and ripped all the other languages except for ENGLISH and RUSSIAN) version made a big mistake when they released it to the public.
It has a problem with/missing 43 .upk (contains 3D models, textures, maps, music files, game settings, other files) files all for Chapter 1…
I would have been able to reply to you sooner if it wasn’t for the fact that the comments must be approved* by administration before they become visible to the public (including mine).

hey guys, i have the exact same problem than tenno!!!! when the news of the giant wheel appears, the game frozes. Please tell me how to fix this!! i thought it was becouse of the graphics options, but i already cheked and it wasnt that( or at least i think it isn´tsince tenno has the same problem).

found a fix for ferris wheel crash “”http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8065897/DmC__Devil_May_Cry_RePack_RG_Revenants_updated”" if you could download the data01.dat and setup.exe replace your old one.., and install it again it works for me 100% (but noticed when its installed it unpacks to 7.92GB only the game requires 10GB space on HDD) so keep the original data01.dat and setup.exe just in case it did not work for you… i did redownload the whole thing at that site no worry it has no virus i dont have an anti virus on my system… hope this helps newbie fan of SKIDROW.. thanks for great working games (RE ORC, NFS most wanted)
You didn’t need to download that 2 GB file (Data01.dat) again to solve the problem… I also had suffered from this problem but I solved it faster and better…

For those who have downloaded the 4.88GB R.G. Revenants repack and getting crash at the Ferris Wheel. Here is the fix, only 120MB.
Just extract, then paste the files into DevilGame\CookedPCConsole\ folder.
It won’t crash anymore, and u can continue playing.

for those having a problem in mission 13 like juan and abhinav , i had the same problem as yours so here is what you should do :
1-open the CookedPCConsole folder and copy those two files (Ch13_Club_Transform_1) & (Ch13_Club_Transform_1_Cmbt) to another place(e.g desktop , documents ,….).
2-use this link http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8086079/DmC_Devil_may_Cry_Update_1-CRACKED and choose to download the two files above ONLY (about 3mb).
3-copy those files to the CookedPCConsole and replace.
4-continue your game , now the floor should transform correctly and save a checkpoint.
5-don’t continue cuz beating the demons will transform the club again and you will keep falling , so quit the game.
6-go to the directory that you stored the original two files (in step 1) , copy them to the CookedPCConsole and replace.
7-now continue playing , you will restart from the checkpoint and after beating the demons the club transforms and you may fall once or twice but then the floor will generate under your feet and you can continue your game.
P.S.: you have to do this every time you start mission 13 from the first checkpoint.
you can try to leave the two downloaded files and continue the game and if it didn’t work , then replace them with the originals.

after the scene where its eyes turns white it fades into a black screen with the background music but it never finish …
