   donwload links work but downloaded part 1 no problem but all others downloadin between 100 – 300mb then failing ive tried about 6 times tbh its just wastin ma bandwidth :( please help guys and SKiDROW!!!!! :) thanks

    why no torrent links? I’m not a big fan of these mega-upload style downloads. I’d love to see a verified skidrow torrent instead of the hijacked virus ridden torrents that I come across all to frequently. Come on guys!

    Seems like the new patch which automatically gets installed from Ubisoft makes the game unplayable with the current crack. Ubisoft game launcher does start in the services but the game itself crashes straight away. Tried re-applying the crack after the update but no luck so far.

    I cannot get the game to work. I copy all the files from the crack folder on the ISO, but the skidrow.dll file cannot/will not copy across.

    First it asks for Admin permission to copy across, which works..but then it asks for Everyones permission is a new one to me. I get 2 options..try again and cancel. Try again just brings up the same error.

    So every time I launch the game, I get an “cannot find skidrow.dll” error.

    I downloaded several skidrow cracks off several sites, but all of them had the .dll file missing :(

    couldnt get it to work at first. installed it and when i ran it there only came a loading cirkel . i got it to work once but when i wanted to play a second time it was the old story again.

    Greets!

    I DL this from a torrent, installed and got about 3 hours under my belt so far with no issues. Until I DL Assassins Creed II and Brotherhood. After applying the crack for those two, DSF no longer works. It will start, and immediately crash stating the exe version is 0.0.0 !?

    Any ideas to why this is happening? Would love to get back in the game, even if I do have to start over.

      Method 1 to Fix Driver: San Francisco Crashes Issue on Set up for PC

      Everyone who is using a SKIDROW crack:

      Install the game to C:/Driver San Francisco.

      Then the game shouldn’t crash at launcher.

      Method 2 to Fix Driver: San Francisco Crashes Issue on Set up for PC

      Deleted ubisoft launcher.exe

      Reinstall game.

      Method 3 to Fix Driver: San Francisco Crashes Issue on Set up for PC

      If your PC is Win7 64bit system:

      Uninstall game, then uninstall Ubi game launcher, be sure to delete their folders in program files (if they are still there after uninstall)

      Then install game again, after install don’t install update, just copy crack content to game dir and run it. It should work. Update can make problems so avoid it for start, check game without update and if its good for you then go with update and re-crack.

      Method 4 to Fix Driver: San Francisco Crashes Issue on Set up for PC

      Possible solutions to fix Driver: San Francisco crashes issue on set up if above that up doesn’t work:

      Update your GPU driver

      Set WinXPsp3 compatibility for driver.exe

      It’s not so hard to fix Driver: San Francisco launch crashes issue for PC. Just try to fix it on above.

    Update:

    Install the game – apply crack – update – Run game – Exit game – then go to your documents folder.

    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Ubisoft\Driver SF\

    Delete everything there except the Skidrow folder. Restart game and enjoy!

    NOTE – This is what worked for me, but it’s one of the files in the ubisoft folder causing the crash. After deleting evrything there except the SR folder, the other files do not regenerate. If it works for you, but crashes again later, you may have to re do this. DO NOT DELETE THE SR FILE! That is where you’r save game is.

    Good luck!

    i have downloaded the game and i installed it but wen i started the game it showed me that i have to download “binkw32.dll” so i downloaded it tand i copied it in the windows.system32
    but when i wanted to play it showed me this:

    i found something it really works
    for what i’ve readed, the only solution is to delete the file “explosion.bik” located on the folder Common/fmv in the install folder

    omid says that to remove explosion.bik file I don’t wanna remove explosions from the game because I have only saw just 5-6 explosions in the whole game! I have stuck when John Tanner gets out of coma and drives the Camaro SS exactly at 1700m my game gets stuck and I am thinking something in the last part yeah me that woman leaves gaps in between her saying! Isn’t that some bug of game or affect of crack? Please I need the reply! I am already dying to play the game!
    I am downloading the PAtch 1.02v If it does work Thanks to the patch! If it doesn’t work I am gonna try omid’s idea.

    Hi, i followed instructions but game doesnt launch. I updated to patch 1.03 and copy skydrow folder in Driver San Francisco and “orbit” in UBISOFT game launcher but doesnt open…

    I dont know what i have to do to it works. I cant find that

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher\ delete settings.yml before u start the game for the first time.

    i have no AppData folder and i have no settings.yml file in all hdd

    Im unable to set higher resolutin than 1600×1200 after this patch 1.03 :( With version 1.0 no problem. Monitor is 22″ full HD, Windows desktop resolution si 1920×1080. Tried everything, when I set resolution manually in \Documents\Ubisoft\Driver San Francisco\graphics.ini its overwritten to 1600×1200… Any idea?

    Guys, if you are crashing upon startup: Driver.exe has stopped working, then disconnect any joysticks or controllers that you have connected and restart the game.

    if you have a problem “When Tanner is awake in the hospital and goes in the city”, then try rename the “explosion.bik” to “explosion”, in “X:\Driver San Francisco\Common\fmv”

    Hey,

    -If you have problems with launching the first time:
    Just copy your entire folder to desktop, or somewhere else,
    and IT WILL WORK.

    -When your game doesn’t start up the second time; then you can do
    some options:
    -Reinstall, and hope it will work.

    -Delete offline.ini, but I haven’t found that file, so I doubt if it’s 100% guaranteed solution.

    -Connect to internet connection, and start the game than. (Useless in most cases)

    If all of these don’t work.
    Look for another game ;D

    Being pretty computer savvy, when this failed to work as per Skidrow’s instructions, I assumed I had done something wrong, and tried to fix it. Unfortunately, every single suggestion that I have come across and tried, does not work. There is absolutely something wring with this crack and it WILL NOT WORK, unless you are extremely lucky. I really appreciate your efforts skidrow, but this is utter garbage. Please don’t release a title, unless you know that it will work. This clearly does not, especially if you have an x64 machine, it seems. I don’t really trust you anymore as a result, and I am sure, I am not the only one.

    Hopeless effort.

    To get this truly working, play the game first with settings.yml being removed – hopefully no crash but doesnt matter if it does – then update chronologically through updates 2, 3 and 4 WITHOUT APPLYING THE CRACK EACH TIME – save your ORIGINAL files in a zip file or something (so its easily spotted, just right click -> send to compressed for doing it faster) ONLY then do you apply the latest crack in version 4 – then ” in “Common” folder, open “fmv” folder, and rename explosion.bik to explosion” and finally switch your internet off for the first time you launch it (then re-enable)!!!

    TIP: When you come to update again MAKE SURE to replace the cracked files with the original ones before applying the update..

    As a rule everyone should keep the latest update’s original files, so that when you come to update agin you don’t get a massive crash, lose your save and have to either uninstall the update (which usually buggers it up anyway) or reinstall from scratch which both suck ass… Do yourself a favor and do this from now on =] and when updating with multiple updates THAT DONT SAY “you dont require previouse updates” always do them like the above without adding the crack each time….

    100% working, tested only on x64 system tho – sorry 32bit dudes…

    Hey Skidrow, i downloaded this game via torrent and i have a problem….i do everything as said in the instruction except the appdata part. in my user folder there is no appdata, ubisoft live or anything mentioned above. and then i searched my pc for yml files and it didn’t find settings.yml. so when i start the game, it doesnt start it just loads and then nothing. what should i dooo !!!!!!?????

    urrr, I don’t have the ubisoft game launcher folder in my appdata/local folder, there is one in my ‘programs(X84)/ubisoft’ though, but there isn’t the file that I need to delete in there.

    Hey there,
    Not too sure if I’ve been doing the install wrong. basically, I’ve gotten it installed, updated and copied over the information. Can’t find the settings.yml. The folder I check in appears empty. Anyways, I ubisoft/driver from the internet and yet it still somehow is downloading the autopatch provided by ubisoft. I’ve check firewall and can’t see how. I’m not sure if they’ve disabled this crack? Any suggestions on how to get this working would be welcomed. its on wndows 7 64bit if that matters.

    For those who can’t find settings.yml !!!:D
    CLICK START – CONTROL PANNEL – APPEARANCE AND pERSONALIZATION – FOLDER OPTIONS-
    VIEW- AND CLICK ON “sHOW HIDDEN FILES, FOLDERS OR DRIVERS.
    Than you cand find settings.yml and you can crack your game:D
