The game gets stuck at the title screen. Please help!
I’va got the same problem. Clean install and copied the SKIDROW folder directly into the install folder. It would not let me install those final 2 programs they added at the end of the installation… could that be the cause?

How?
1. Install the game and DO NOT apply the crack
2. Make a new steam account (you don’t want to use your original one, do you?)
3. create a text file named ‘steam_appid.txt’ in your endless space directory and try various app id’s (I won’t publish mine as we all know published id’s don’t work long)
4. start game via executable
5. profit (aka play with friends who used the same app id)
I believe mutliplayer would not work. Thanks for the great crack Skidrow, but does anyone know where this varies install-wise from the legit purchased game? I’m trying to download the trainer, but it fails on usage, and I think it may be due to having different installation directories, anyone able to help?
Tnx for the job, but doesn’t start.. after installed the game, DirectX and visual c++, click, starts, 5 seconds and.. “EndlessSpace.exe” has stopped working. I have nvidia geforce GT540M, acer 5750G, i think it’s impossible that I don’t respect the minimum requirement
open game folder.after that open SKIDROW.INI and change your player name but never use letters which are not english if u select english when u start the game
Nothing. I suppose that the problem is structural, I think the problem is in the dll, I have also tried to install Steam adding the game manually, but still not start.

Somehow I am not able to move my fleet, when I select my fleet and click on systems nearby, nothing happens, i don´t get the dashed path..
Any ideas?

Funny thing, after installing this my start menu ended up with an Endless Space folder, containing a link not for Endless Space but for Bang Bang Racing (which nonetheless started Endless Space)…
Other than that, neat game.

why would you add a password ? if I download I DL 30 games a time with different password and then forget where from..

I recently discover the game -looks a lot like Sins of a Solar Empire- and i downloaded it and installed it, but there were some issues and i would need your help please…
As i installed the game, i realised that it wont ask me for the “random” serial key (as installation instructions suggest), instead, the game installed flawlessly in c:\game_dir.
I run the game and starting it, i found out that there were some kind of “console mode” screen, which, in almost every mouse click, performed some kind of debugging, as if there are files or programm routines that cant be found from the game, or missing, so the game could not run flawlessly.
Well, after several “debbuging” screens, i found myself in “choosing fraction” screen -which also seems not to work properly-, i chose a fraction and -after more debbuging- i start play, with no other major faults in game…
BUT…..when i am about engaging in fleet fighting, there is a pop up screen in which you can resolve manually or automatic the batlle and the game then seem to stuck…
I cant resolve the battle -the screen ask me to leave to desktop or return to game-, but i can return in game world and continue other tasks (such as researching etc), but icant any more press the turn button….
Very very odd and nerve breaking, especially if you have several hours playing, constracting your forces…
I update the game in v.1.0.9 and all then in between versions, but nothing changes.
Please can anyone help me of what to do, as it seem nice game and i would love to play it?
