but in the folder C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft Game Launcher \ savegames there are two folders one think of assassins creed 3 and the other must be the Far Cry 3.

Autosave issue.. “autosaves” all the time preventing manual saving. And this seems to deny saving anyways, because everytime i restart the game i have to start from the beginning. Pretty baaad.. any advices? Can this be fixed manyally or do i have to wait for a somekind of a fix..?

I did exactly steps by steps what’s wrote in the readme,but my Uplay account was blocked.
I’ve installed the 1.01 patch from the crack folder,follow the instruction as in the readme,the game went fine the 1st time,but as i lunched it a 2nd one,my uplay account was blocked =( .
If i edit the regfile and i put in a different installation path,like C:\Games\FarCry3 ,the fix will works anyway?

Hello folks, I have followed the instructions to the letter but when I launch the game I keep getting a black screen with error something to this effect you do not have sufficient access privileges to run the game or program, I have tried administrator and compatibility mode(s) have the latest beta Nvidia drivers, computer meets specifications, I have prayed several times, have no issues with any other games except Hitman Absolution, which gives me the DirecX 11 problem so I got rid of it. Have anyone else have this same problem? I’m running Win 7 Ultimate x64 bits SP1. Thanks

Okay, the problem most people are having as follows.
The file in the torrent is the what seems to be the program files for the game, which, when you turn them into an .iso fail to create a .exe which you can install the game from. Im not sure if the torrent is missing something but any help with this wil help me and a lot of others out there!
Extra Note, also wandering why they included the installer for Uplay if it isnt needed to play the game?!?!

Cool! Well, first of all, thanks for the release!.
Second, i managed to download an install it, plus doing 20000 things to make it work. At least, it started, in my desired language with the language selector.
But, as always, there´s a “slight problem”. After the famous “nice phone”, it simply crashes, no error logfile, no drivers crash report, just “kaboom”.
I read on steam forums that it has something to do with the game itself…or the nvidia/geforce drivers…or maybe both of them.
Either way, game works, but still needs a good patch, so i trust in you guys! And thanks again for the release, i was just about to buy it…but you saved me from wasting my money in a piece of digital sh***t that does not work, even if you do not have it cr@cked :)

Anyone with save issues, I had the same trouble. Save worked fine until I quit to desktop and actually restarted my computer, then it disappeared.
So, I applied the patch update included in Crack folder again.
Copied all that content to /bin folder again.
Created a shortcut from the FarCry3.exe in /bin and added the -offline to the target for the shortcut.
I then copied over all the content from the Steam006 crack here: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7868229/FAR.CRy.3.CRACK_ONLY-PROPER_STEAM006 into the /bin folder.
After that my original saves returned, and I have since been able to save again, quit, restart, and saves still there. Hope that helps anyone with the save issue. I had nothing for audio other than the weird thing that the in-game master volume was turned all the way down upon initial launch of the game, but turning it up fixed that (I sincerely hope that’s not the issue everyone crying about sound is having…)

If the game lag is cuz you have a shit gaming setup,for this game it’s needed minimum a gtx480 or radeon 6950….for max all on ultra..if u have a 560ti or gtx460 or smilar,i advice you to decrease the quality to medium..aniway with my radeon 7870 OC i max all on ultra with 2xmsaa and run 45-55 fps,if you want a better performance on ultra disable msaa and ultra shadow,this game is like crysis,a new benchmark for pc,so don’t laugh if with a 560ti it lag a lot…

Hi, autosave don’t work for me, but now yes.
it’s easy to fix it . go to ocuments\My Games\Far Cry 3 and open gamer profile search autosave and change 1 for 0. save and exit. now open the game and you can save, with autosave.

Play the game and wait until you can save on the menu when you press esc ingame save 2 times because its ask you too overwrite the save and wait until your outta mission then quit to main menu then exit and start game again and look if savegame is there hope i can helped by my game it worked

Game’s autosave only works at the begining of the missions. To save, you have to finish the mission you are playing.
If you aren’t playing any mission and you use the “manual” save, it works.
So, you have to complete every level if you want to save your progress.

The save files are in C:/Program Data/Orbit My saves are there but the game won’t detect them.
I am playing this game all night since getting it. I cant put it down.
For SAVE problem:
Launch uplay ,register account then select “offline mode”
launch farcry3.exe as administrator.
Now SAVE without problem ,for me.

save game problem? Here’s the solution.. Right click on the
shortcut (If you dont have create one) and then click properties
You may see on the target box “E:Far Cry 3FarCry 3binfarcry3.exe”. Add
-offline to it. It should be looking like this “E:Far Cry 3FarCry
3binfarcry3.exe” -offline or just copy this and paste it in the target box.
