1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount the image.
3. Install the game.
4. Copy the content from /Crack directory on the DVD to the <install>
directory of the game. We recommend firewalling all game exes as well.
5. Play the game. The launcher will fail at getting updates. Click continue.
6. When you save/load you must wait for the online sync to fail
until you can save/load.

Problem saves.
at each launch of the game, the save game directory and rebooted, the problem occurs when you start the launcher or when you click play, so save more : (

a chaque lancement de jeu, le répértoire de sauvegarde du jeu et réinitialisé, le problème a lieu quand on lance le launcher ou quand on clique sur jouer, donc plus de sauvegarde :(
you can save just fine. i suggest reading the NFO next time.
everytime you save, wait for the sync to the server to fail, when it fails the slot where you saved will turn white and you can proceed on saving
during the game I do not have backup problem is when I leave the game and I want to take my backup is empty …

if u try and link accounts it will ask for product key, But if you let it connect to internet through firewall it will let you play and alleviates wait time for saving to hard drive. not sure if anything is bad about letting it through firewall.

i tried using the torrent, but norton security got rid of the ff7_en.exe file as well as other ones. damn you norton!
there is a long process you can do to make the save/load faster, force your firewall to block the connection “ff7_en.exe” , “”ff7 Updater.exe” and “ff7 UpdateHelper.exe”
Have the same problem.Norton sometimes really sucks.

Won’t work for me. Launcher doesn’t start the game when I hit play. It just disappears like its doing something then reappears. When I click the ff7_en.exe directly, I get an application error.
Esta en español, english, deutch and french. Espero que la horrible traduccion del juego la hayan repasado, que tiempo han tenido.
where is the ff7 updater.exe and updatehlper.exe located? its not in my %user% ff7/update-temp folder as some people state, i dont even have that update folder!
also i cannot save at all! it worked once as discribed, i blocked ff7_en and ff7_launcher and it timed out the cloud service and let me save.. but only once, after that it wonr even time out anyomre it just stays gray!
I dled a different version than reloaded so I am not certain if it works the same for you as it did for me.
windows 7 – start->controlpanel->system and security->windows firewall->advanced settings
click on outbound rules and create a “new rule”.
select program, then browse for the file “ff7_en.exe”
click next to block the connnection, click next again to apply to all domains. write a name to finish.
i did not do it for ff7 updater and updatehelper because i could not find them.
the instructions worked for me, when i play, i click on the launcher and it always say “Remote sync failed”. when in game to save, it always say failed to sync save files, progression will be save on local settings in the upper left corner. thus allow me to save relatively instant.
if yours do not work the same, sorry I do not know how to help.

When I clicked on the launcher a message like,” This software must be authenticated online prior to use. For activation a valid serial number and an active Internet connection is required” is appearing on the screen. What should I do? Do you have the serial number?
Ive downloaded the game copied the crack files over into the installation folder, however when i try to play the game i keep getting the active game online pop asking me to add the serial to activate the game.
Anyone know how to get around this?

Every time i boot up, the second it syncs and fails, my save disappears…
found a way to get over it
1- Before i open the launcher i set my save file to “read only” (using file properties)
2-Open the launcher, boot up game, load your file.
3-Once you’re in game, set save file back to normal (take off read only)
If you dont set it to normal on step 3 the save wont be updated if you get further in game and try to save.
Hope some fix will come up anywayz.
