Jagged Alliance Back in Action is a contemporary remake of the latest title in the much-loved Jagged Alliance series of turn-based mercenary-themed strategy games.

Are the DLC playable? Because last patch did not had a button to play them. Also, is it the same broken patch that f*c*s up the fonts unless you make a clean install (from v1.0)?

After couple hours I’ve managed to run JA:BiA. But DLCs are still gone.
1. Install game with crack,
2. Install update 1.13A with crack.
3. Instal update 1.13B with crack.
4. “Download the original “interface_win32.pak.crypt” from here http://uploaded.to/file/vb2dd8rh” and “Copy the “interface_win32.pak.crypt” into the main BiA directory (overwrite old one)” – that part is from Jagged Alliance Back in Action v1.13a Update incl Shades of Red DLC-SKIDROW page
5. Download NoIntroFix from GameCopyWorld – only deleting video files won’t work, they have to be replaced by “dummies”.
6. In Windows 7 64bit You have to change save game folder’s properties, to enable saving/loading – go to “Libraries”, then “Documents”, then right mouse click on “Jagged Alliance – Back in Action” folder (full path is C:\Users\Public\Documents\Jagged Alliance – Back in Action), go to “Properties”, go to “Security” and for every user manualy set every permition to “allow”.

I have installed the 1.13b patch with Point Blank DLC but no menu option is available to start it even after the fix.

Hey, thanks for all your help so far.
I have a major issue though. No hired mercs are arriving at the airport. I’ve waited 12 days for my first merc and nothing. Also, is there a way to set that value? Seems that different mercs take different ammounts of time to arrive etc.
Just to be clear:
I have followed syn31′s instructions, reinstalled twice to 1.13g and the third time, only to 1.13b just to check. Still no recruits appearing. Something else I noticed, the icon for the airport is a clock now.
Running blue dawn but tried without mods. Last time it worked was 1.06 with BD and thats it.

Thanks to TehGlitch over at JA-glaxy-forum, the problem is solved.
I’m very surprised at how few people had this glitch given that it seems to be the BD locations.txt that is at fault. Hope this helps.

axotl, just get the DLC-Fix for 1.13b posted by syn31. It has interface_win32.pak in it.
