shame it doesn’t actually work. none of the listed control devices do anything. no matter what device you select, you are still prompted to press ‘Backspace’ to start the engine, but this does nothing.

Needs a fix, engine wont start on any car in game.
Unfortunately the car won’t start. Googled for a bit, that’s due to the fact that it’s a hacked version. Patch needed, badly. Even though I want to buy the game eventually to join the community, I’d like to check it out thoroughly.

Crack worked fine for me, the game loaded and can choose any car and any track, BUT controls do not work and can’t start the car.
to get crack to work copy and paste AGAIN. it didn’t work first time i copied and pasted, so did it again and it seemed to do the trick. Don’t know why or how, but it did.
NOPE, i just tried it. I create driver, get in the game. engine does not start. then i exit and copy paste again the crack. but still the engine does not start.
you should try using open wheel 1800. there you would see the tecometer on the steering wheel. press the right most of the button until it display “Battery”. you will notice it is zero.
No the car still doesn’t start, my solution was a reply to those who can not get into game at all, or couldn’t select car, or track. when i did this i could choose any car and any track, BUT like i said, the first time i pasted i couldn’t so decided to paste again and then i could choose any track and car, BUT still the car will NOT start.
i hope someone finda a solution soon.

You can start the game, select a track and car, and go (no to the pit o box, in the menu of weather) with the crack. No close the game, go to the desktop and go to the folder of game, use a original exe, and replace the crack exe. Return to the game, and start the car.
Repeat all this to start now the game.
In once games, this method works.
could someone please explain this in English, have no idea what they’re saying
i think what he is saying is this. you copy the crack, then go in the game UP TO the weather option. (just before the “drive” button). then, you alt+tab and copy the NON crack exe back to the game. after that, you alt+tab back into nkrpo and hit “drive” button.
i did that, but does not work. battery still zero, thus engine does not start. he probably choose the demo car, so he think it work.
i managed to join a online race,but wish i never bothered this is possible the worst racing game ever, totally ucontrollabl car, like driving on ice,totally unrealistic, just touch brakes and wheels lock up. total rubbish, but hey thats just my opinion

if you replace the exe when the game is open it is impossibile to do.
if you try to replace a arcichivo with a program that does not let you open until you close, this method does not work
