play game with out cheat , and game will not bug out , use Proper Skidrow game version , if you use cheats your save files will record it and game will bug out , that is what make this game for us leechers so crapy , if you still preff to play game unfair , buy the game and quit QQing here , its all for free show some respect .
Thx skidrow Prototype II is best game , a lot better details runs even on less power PC spec .
And if some care to know Prototype II Proper – SKIDROW has all that game offers the working DLC and all , just game does not respond well to cheats and trainers , you can see that with in your saves in place where game difficulty is written it will not be : easy – normal – hard – insane instead it will be some $_text_ 301 , which makes it that game is buged , game does not crash but game flow is off and where you would get talent point when lvl up , you do not get it and there are only so many points as there are talent slots in talent tree selection ,

I’ve extracted the install.exe and other files into a folder on my desktop with no problems but when I do run install.exe (even as administrator) and click install -> unrar to designated folder, I get a message saying “The archivefile ‘folder location’ is missing!” How do I fix this? D:

I installed from “Install”, an hour after appeared a folder without any .exe. Now my question is HOW do I play? Only i have these folder art, audio, extras, movies, scripts, and prototype2engine.dll, SKIDROW (configuration options in a block note), steam_api.dll and Steamclient.dll. I DON’T HACE ANY LAUNCHER OR SOMETHING TO PLAY please help!

Figured I would post here and give some insight to those that are having crash and freeze problems, I have found that if you disable all unneeded serviecs from services.msc and any hid serviecs it helps. Plus alt tabing to the desktop after a few of playing will cause the game to not crash. I my self have had it crash many times over and over but doing what i stated and i must say it has not crashed once.

If your a fan of the first game do yourself a favor and don’t download this game. The story sucks, the game play sucks, and the powers suck. To get ready to play this game i went back and played the original and when i started playing this it felt like they took the fun out of the game and as i got further into it, it just got worse. If you like watered down games and the word F*ck in every sentence then this is the game for you.
Not to sure if this will help any one but I did install Ati Tray Tools and changed the Flip Queue Size to 1 i also turned off all settings that allowed me to turn off in game and set everything to low. I also edited the games shortcut and added the resolution=1024×768@60 and I played this version for a good 5 hours with no crashes. Minor graphic glitches though but at least It didn’t crash any. Just figure I would add this and see if it helps any one out that might be getting crashing in game.
