For everyone with the loading stuck problem when the game start just wait:) It takes around 10-15 min to load cuz a bug with grapichs hardware but it will work great once started.
Triad enforcer pack is not really included is it ?

For people having trouble with white screen at start up, change compatibility of the game to windows xp service pack 3
i have windows in drive C:, this isn’t the problem of white screen. And not work the compatibility with windows XP Service Pack 2, nothing work….the game simply don’t start, he’s stop at white screen, load, load, load and nothing happen!
first of all, i run with the update 1.4+ crack fix.. and it works fine im able to play the game, than next day i want to play again and click on the HKship.exe …. the game is open with the white screen, so im waiting……waiting…… waiting……………. not responding -_-’
what is going on now? the game is great, but i think something unstable. Please fix it :)

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE WHITE SCREEN PROBLEM:Apparently it is because you don’t have windows installed on the C: drive.
Here’s the solution for it:
There is a way to run it if you have Windows is not on drive C:
Download the file that corresponds to your install location for Sleeping Dogs :

Just extract and then copy the files in game directory. Found this guide somewhere, worked for me, just passing it along so people can solve their problem with the game.

Always say the file “SFX.pck” is corrupted in the “data/audio/hk”.
This file is zipped in the zip file “number 4″. I have redownloaded
zip file “number 4″ but the same error happens. I have installed
the game in C drive and run as a “administrator” mode but still

If you got a problem with the xbox controller like me, just calibrate the controller and it will work fine,
On Win 7:
Start\Devices and Printers or
Start\Control Panel\Devices and Printers
Here you will find your controller listed under devices.
Click with the right mouse button, go to game controller settings,in the window that pops up (make sure controller is selected) then click properties…..
This will be the calibration utility.
If you got problems with black screen, just don´t try with full screen, it will show a black screen sometimes but this one disappear if you move the mouse, it will not be there forever, idk how to fix this, but I wish Skidrow will do cause I looked everywhere and nothing worked for me, Thanks for the game Skidrow!

For people with WHITE SECREEN PROBLEM ( game not loading when launching) create a folder in c://program files/steam/steamapps/SleepingDogs and COPY all of your sleeping dogs installation files there, and play.
I also applied 3DM update (1GB) and 1.4 crack fix before that but you should try without first.
This has resolved my problem. TUMBS UP SO PEOPLE CAN SEE.

I finished the game with no real problems. I was using 1.4 update and original crack.

100% working…i just had to update my nvidia driver to gain graphic quality
only 2 problems: there is no triad enforcer dlc pack and in the setting options the graphics quality can not be changed,its blocked on “undefined”…any idea for fixing this???
when u edit ur desired settings in advanced menu, go back, it will ask u to save, click yes, then go back again, to get out of regular options menu, it will ask u to save again, and this time click no. the advanced settings will be saved then, u can check it.
or after you changed the advance setting, go back and save… then benchmark it… your advance setting won’t change to default anymore…
