   @monoxide : it’s the same to me, im using 6970m on m17xR3
   i set everything on Ultra – high – medium – low => the texture! it’s all the same no matter what i choose! worst ultra textures i ever seen.
   i can’t enjoy playing this AAA+ game like this. Pls! some1 fix this annoying bug.

   Thanks for all of this precisions. Still, I have done, once again exactly What you described, and I am redirected nevertheless.

   I simply don’t understand why it’s not working. This is not my first skidrow installation and I usually manage to install properly when I follow the steps.

   Anymay, in the crack file, there are 3 files that doesn’t appear in the installed skyrim file: “THEGFW”, “TESV” and “Steamclient.dll”. Is it normal? Do I have to copy them in the skyrim file anyway? If the answer is yes, where do I have to copy them?

   Sorry for all this questions.

   Can someone help I spent ages downloading the 1 file and when I finally downloaded it I extracted it to a folder then opened daemon tools to mount it but it contains no ISO files so how does that work?

    Those files were not part of the crack I downloaded. In the crack listed above it had the files atimgpud, binkw32, skyrimlauncher, and TESV. The Razor update listed above had those same files, plus a data folder (that gets copied over with the other files to the game directory, you will choose the option to merge this folder) and skidrowgames.net (which is the install instructions by skidrow). I just downloaded the Razordox update and it had all of those files, plus veryhigh, high, medium, low, installscript.vdf, and readme. So none of the cracks or updates have Steamclient.dll or THEGFW files. Are you using the Razor ISO, crack, and updates listed above? If so, you might consider re-downloading. I used the rapidshare links that are split into 6 parts for the ISO. Both fileserve and filesonic work for the crack and updates. If your not using the ones listed above, then download them instead of the one your using. Also remember when coping the crack, you will copy all files to the game directory… copy replace all files and merge all folders. It sounds like your using a crack from somewhere else, thats not meant to be used with this ISO.

    hey!
    (NOTE; i downloaded the first skyrim download by skidrow)

    i’m having a problem, once i open skyrimLauncher it opens to a menu and then i press play, it then pops up with an error message saying “The program can’t start because steam_api.dll is missing from you’re computer. Try re installing the program to fix this problem” even though i can see the steam_api.dll file there (116kb)!

    i have done everything correctly i believe, i’ve unpacked it with phoenix beta 8, put the crack in, re installed it in several different locations but still no luck!!

    is there something i’m doing wrong? is there a pacific place i’m suppose to extract it to?

    So I have several problems. When I click “Play” in the Skyrim Launcher, nothing happens. Also “TESV” gives me “This application has failed to start steam_api.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.” And when I click “The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim” shortcut in the start menu, it gives me “Application load error 5:0000065434″
    What do I do?

    For this people that don’t find the iso file follow this steps 1. Unrar all files then u should have about 55 files all labeled .001, .002, etc.
    2. Rename .001 to .001.rar
    3. Unrar it and then when it asks you find .002(where .001 was) and use it
    4. Mount the file you get
    5. Use crack
    6. Update it
    7. Enjoy

    Ok so I finally get it !!

    I explain what happen because it is very silly and it could help someone who experience the same problems.

    After installing the game and use the crack, I tried to run the game with skyrimlauncher.exe. But at this time I didn’t installed the update. I just wanted to see if the crack run properly before installing the update. But without the update installed, the launcher redirect me on steam.

    I finally run the TESV.exe and, miracle ! It run the game (but not in fullscreen).

    After installing the update I retried to run the launcher and this time, the game work perfectly and I can choose my graphics preferences.

    So in order to run the game with the launcher you MUST first install the update.

    im having a problem on sound effect i tried various default sound from 16bit 44100 until 24bit 9600 still i can’t hear any sound effects like the “dog barking,objects,magics,” and others anyone know how to fix this? or the repack has something to do with it?

      hi mate i have come on here to help you. i had the same problem. you need to download the sounds.bsa file, its a around 780 mb file that will prob be in a win rar. sorry i cant help with getting you it but atleast you know whats wrong.

    Hello everyone,

    So I also have the game and everything worked perfectly until i got to the mission where you have to talk to Esbern in the Ratsway or something like that.. after i talk to him (Esberns voice is missing!!!) the game says that i completed the quest but when i look at the quest screen it says i didn;t complete it and nothin happens. Esbern is supposed to open the door but nothing happens.

    So please can anyone HELPP me!! it’s such a great game so please anyone.

    Hey, I’ve got a problem. I can’t install it, no matter what. I tried running it in admin mode (yes I am using windows 7 64-bit), in compatibility mode…Nothing works! It just says, that the version of this file is not compatibile with system I am using… HELP!

      You must didn’t unpack the whole folder so the system can’t read the file.
      1.Check if you have all the files.
      2.unpack file 001 in the same folder as the others.(the rest should folow)
      3.Mount and do the other stuff

    I am getting the audio bug as well. Only things i can hear are dialogue, music and character grunts/breath. Changed the sound from all the different bits and hertz, still can’t get the sound to work.

    When I am reading through this comments, Skyrim seems to cause lots of difficulties. I haven´t started the real game yet (I guess I´ll wait until Christmas), but the installation-process worked flawlessly. So for those having problems with the installation, I can´t directly help, but I can say how I did it (It may be more interesting for rookies):

    1.) Downloading the core-files from rapidshare (personal choice) with JDownloader. When finished, JDownloader extracted automically. (In case JD doesn´t extract, I recommend 7zip, not WinRAR or something else.)
    2.) Downloading “Update-1-Repack”.
    3.) Opening ISO through “deamon tools lite”, installing in some folder.(–> Skyrimfolder)
    4.) Extracting “Update-1-Repack”, if it hasn´t automatically, and copying the 11 files in the main Skyrimfolder; replacing former ones.
    5.) Activating “Skyrimlauncher”. Game “scans” computer, and chooses right resolution, level of detail,… automatically. You can of course change them.
    6.) Play.

    As I said, I didn´t actually play just yet, so I can´t comment on the sound issues, etc. But I don´t understand – for instance – why people use “phoenix”. You do not need it. I haven´t even heard of it, before I´ve read this comments.

      Hey, I followed your instructions, but I’m confused at the part where you say “Open ISO in Daemon Tools, Install to some folder”. I mounted the ISO, but I don’t know what you mean by Install to some folder. I clicked install.exe and it said “Not a valid win32 file”. What am I doing wrong?

        When you got the ISO, leftklick on the “deamon tools”-symbol in the bottom right corner, choose an empty device (usally that´s the only option possible), then comes the “select image file”-window. Select the ISO. After a very short “mounting image”-message, the razor1911 installer starts, where you choose the folder.
        That´s of course how it should work, and how I did it (I even did it on two different comps, with XP an W7, just for your question). But as you see, you don´t have to click on an “install.exe”.

        In some (rather rare, but it happens) cases the ISO could be corrupted. Maybe that is your problem. But just try the upper thing first, and tell me how it went.

    For those who’re having sound effect issue (no sound when attack, magic, etc), you have to download an extra sound package (900MB). Google it! I had the same issue too, and downloaded the file from a comment at piratebay. I’m playing the game now with all sound, everything works.

    P/S: I downloaded and used the unpacked version, so those who using the full iso, I have no idea.

    Sound issues can possibly be fixed by changing your sound settings to 44100 hz in Control Panel/Hardware and Sound… Select sound and then select your playback device and go to properties – advanced – and there you can change your format to use 44100 hz..

    Finally got the game to start. But in the first cutscene, right when the priest guy administers the “last rights”, the game just stays there. The guy never bends down to get executed, and the priest just stands there a waves his arms. Anyone know what’s wrong :(

    I got that low grapichs bug on armor, and on the loading screen you also see those pictures are horrible low grapichs. And some rocks ingame to they look like they are colloured with paint.
    All settings are on high. Anyone knows a fix for this?

      I had the same problem. Fixed after I went into my nvidia control panel and returned my 3D settings to default.

    Hi. I tried every available crack, I even tried every version of the Black Box repack, but I can’t get to play.

    The game launches perfectly, but as soon as I’m in game it’s a complete mess. I’m experiencing huge clipping bugs, characters constantly blink, objects constantly slip on the ground, and the wagons at the very beginning of the game won’t stop jumping.

    It looks like every object just has no weight, plus the weird texture clipping bug (blinking characters or missing parts on some models). All my drivers are up to date, and the very odd thing is that when I install the game on my laptop, everything runs well. But I just can’t play on my desktop computer.

    Has anyone got a clue about what’s going on?

    Hey, I think I actually found a way to install without error unpacking
    Try not to extract/mount but run the install straight from your mounting program.
    I used 7Zip to extract to one rar file.
    Then I opened up the rar file and then ran the install straight from there.
    So not unpacking.
    Hope this helps.

    I tryed it w/o the fixes, updates and cracks… and after each thing was added I checked to see if the game worked… and certain things would work after each one… but the closest I’ve gotten is the game will work… I can ride the wagon and all all the way until u get to the prison where ur supposed to get off… but there is no sound… and when I finally get to the point where u get off the wagon…. it just sits there…. they dont get up and get off… but I can still look around… ofc still w/ no sound…. but the start up logo of bethesda has sound….. n I uploaded this Dx Diagnosis made by the Run Cmd DxDiag…. if anyone thinks they can help plz….

    the basic specs tho are..
    System Model: Inspiron 1545
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
    Graphics Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330
    and I cant really find what the sound card is… might be onboard… but I found and updated the drivers with the latest update from Intel…. R312650.exe

    I downloaded the game on vuze. Opened it with poweriso extracted all the files to a folder, installed the game, copied the crack to the programs>razor 1911>skyrim folder when I use the launcher it pops up with data files greyed out, and when I hit play it immediately brings up the menu again, if I click it fast enough it says Error: Game already running! any suggestions. please reply.

    Plays fine, no weird glitches but every 10/15 minutes it crashes getting a black screen and a ‘no signal’ on my monitor.. the sound loops but sometimes keeps playing. anyone got any ideas what the problem cud be?

    Whenever I try to run a new game, all I get is the TESV icon on the loading screen and that’s it :(

    I reinstalled due to an issue with my computer, and if I try to load a old save from a previous install, It just crashes to desktop. If anyone has any advice for me please let me know!

    So I figured out the problem, The game didn’t run after updating to V 1.3, I reverted back to 1.1 and it works fine now. Great game, hopefully V 1.4 is useful!

    One question, are the versions required to be installed in succession? Or can we skip from say, 1.1 to 1.4

    i follow all the instructions , i open the game with the skyrimlauncher.exe , it picks the proper graphic options for my system , tha game opens but when it appears the BETHESDA logo the screen turns black and the game stops , with no any alert just close , any help please?

    thanks for the cracked files….just what i finally needed. had the usual errors steam_api.dll and error code but found the right dll on my computer then tesv.exe did squat but black screen. your crack worked cheers

    anyone who is having problems with texture flickering or strage lights or glitches in textures etc and has an amd radeon graphics card please read on (this only happens if you have a amd card)

    to all the ppl that wanted a way to uninstall this, and never got an answer, i found this program wich did great, its 30 day trail or look for it in TPB for the crack/free version
    Revo Uninstaller Pro
    the program itself wont find the program/game installed, so u have to put it on Hunter Mode, then just drag it from desk to the direct acces, and then just follow the easy steps, enjoy it

      Sorry, but that doesnt work for me.
      I get an error message when I drag it in the window for Revo Uninstaller.
      Something about install package not there, and having to uninstall it manualy, which isnt possible and the reason why I wanted to use Revo uninstaller :)

    Lots of people are having problems with this, so here is what you need to do to get the game working with the latest update!

    1. Install the original game.
    2. DO NOT replace any of the files with the crack files on the .iso disk!
    3. Download the LATEST update (update 4 – this is all you need on top of the original game .iso)
    5. Copy the relevant files from the update. Make sure not to replace the data folder but do extract the newer .bsa and .esm files etc., Make sure to also extract and replace all the files in the root folder with the updated files.
    6. You should now have used the following files – original .iso (uncracked) and the cracked update files. THAT IS IT.

    As long as you do not replace any of the files with the crack folder files from the iso before updating with update 4, you will be fine. Mods may not be compatible as well, and will need to be wiped from the TES folder before any of this. Your best bet if confused is to just backup your save files and reinstall the game. Note you will have to deinstall by deletion of files, but that should be all that is needed.
