ZIPPYSHARE is very Nice (Fast) too. For donloading on ZIPPY you need the Candysot Load! Download Manager. It works Perfectly and with full speed on ZIPPY, I am using it.
Torrent could be alternate way to download for some ppl. Can try this idea, but for those who slower in connection, use mediafire or etc.
Personally, i still like direct download, but goes for torrent if no direct download.

Does anyone have problems with saving progress?
The virus detection is a false positive, in the never reloaded releases which uses the reloaded.dll, some antviruses detect it as a virus but it isn´t. To copy the crack, disable Virus protection and add the reloaded.dll in the game/binary to excetions in your antivirus. I have Eset and for me it works.
The game loses the the Gamesettings and Savegame after leaving the game. When you restart the game there are no savegames.
Anybody else has this issue??? Solution???

Maybe you put the crack in the main game folder you must drop it into C:\Program Files\TopGun – Hardlock\binary Folder, there you must have the fmodex.dll

Yep, game doesn’t save progress or its settings. We’ll have to wait for a fix/update. Anyway, thanks skid and reloaded team, I’m a huge Top Gun fan and been waiting for this many years. I can certainly wait for a patch.

OK, I resolved the savegame problem with the steps I mentioned above, but i forgot to say that first you have to reinstall the game using the default install directory C:\Program Files\TopGun – Hardlock for Win7 32 bit and C:\Program Files(x86)\TopGun – Hardlock for Win7 64 bit
Right klick on the topgun.exe, open properties compatibilty tab and enable the compatibility mode and change it to WINDOWS XP SP3, and tick RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, klick OK and then go to c:\users\your Account name\my documents\my games and create a folder named:
TopGun – Hardlock.
It is possible that you dont need to change the compatibility mode i am not sure, but you must run the game as adminitrator.
Now the Savgame works fine for me.

At least i tried to to run the game without changing the compatibility mode and the Savegame still working, so you only have to:
- Reinstall the game using the default install directory
- go to c:\users\”your Account name”\my documents\my games and create a folder named:.
TopGun – Hardlock.

Yes tybeth is correct. You have to install the game to the default directory – HOWEVER – after installing and crack, you can move the game folder to any other drive (if like me you have dedicated drive just for games) then just right click TopGun icon, select properties, then change the “Target” drive letter and “Start in” drive letter to the drive you moved game to.
Change the foler name to “Top Gun – Hard Lock”(not including quotes),that works for me.By the way,my installation path is partion G: instead of default path and the compatibility setting is not needed.
PS:The game still uses the default resolution 800×600 when launched,but it will switch to the resolution you set when the mainmenu is loaded.

As ridiculous as it may seem, plugging in a USB controller or flight stick really does fix the FPS issue.

just create a folder onder documents\my games\ called “Top Gun – Hard Lock” exactly like that. The spaces are crucial.
That fixed the saving for me. I’m on win7 x64.

The most annoying thing is that you can’t change the controls the way you want, only layouts, and can’t play with a gamepad.. HOWEVER I found a way to play with my gamepad using a program called JoyToKey v5.0… so I bind keyboard keys to my gamepad, for example assigning key “W” to “Up Arrow” in my gamepad.. and so on.

The way that some players told above about save game is work
I repeat it again for who steal have problem
1- Unistall the game and make a clean install on default folder (let it be what it is-dont change it at all)
2- after install game and crack rightclick on topgun.exe on (installation folder/binary/topgun.exe) and go to compability tab and select compability view to windows XP SP3 and also Run as administrator.
3- run the game and have fun
Notic : If you dont have enought space on Drive C do this:
make some free space on drivr C and install the game about (2.54 GB)
then after installing game and crack run the game by steps above and change some settings for saving it into save directory.
then exit the game and move game folder to another drive that you want
I move it to (J:\Program Files (x86)\TopGun – Hardlock) and it work Perfect

My client immediately crashes after a few seconds of loading. I really can’t seem to understand what’s causing it. I’m running it with several compatability options, but to no avail; ran it as an admin too, but nothing. Anyone else get this problem?

To have a decent FPS all you need to do is to untick Compatibility Mode option, the only ticked should be Run as administrator, then its runnig fine, no more slowing down

i reinstalled the game, created a new folder in my documents. i have the “cracked + rdl.dll” and copied them to the folder installed by default i.e ” c \ program files. . i changed compability settings as mentioned above, and ran the program as administrator.

I can’t use burst shots with my space bar too. And I’m DEFINIATELY sure that everybody has the same problem. Just someone tell us the answer if you know.
@white : yeah i faced that problem too , but these days its not gonna support multiplayer as gamespy is dead (idk exactly, i cant create gamespy id and all) , and iam try to play with tunngle , if any 1 find please we can play . my xfire id : vinay4gamz
